Mitchell Family Electric was a great company to do business with. Sam contacted me within minutes of me putting this request in and were able to come do a project for me in the same day after another contractor had cancelled on me. Sam was able to install 2 ceilings for me in less than hour. Great guy, professional and offered some advice for future projects.

I bought a new convertible freezer/fridge for my garage, thinking I shouldn’t have an issue with new construction wiring because who doesn’t have a garage fridge or freezer these days especially when you can only fit a counter depth fridge in your kitchen? Turns out my entire garage was wired to one GFCI that also powered my garage door opener and tankless water heater. My smaller deep freezer chest didn’t have any issues, but this 17 cu ft fridge was too much and would trip the GFCI within a minute or two of running. I had a party to store food for the weekend and it was a Friday afternoon - too late to try to get another fridge and who’s going to come out? This amazing local family owned business came to the rescue. The one person still in the office at 3:30pm dispatched her husband to answer my call, and he arranged to come over at 5:30. Sam was prompt and very professional, and efficient. After assessing my electrical panels, he provided me the options and pricing and pros and cons so I could make my own decision. I opted for the dedicated circuit for the fridge to avoid disrupting anything else in the future and he was done in under an hour. My fridge is up and running and Mitchell Family electric has saved me from the stress of dealing with sacrificing food in my main refrigerator. I am so grateful for this family run business and will be glad to give them my business again.

Sam was quicker than I expected with responding, able to squeeze us in to look at an electrical switch. Quickly troubleshot the problem and was ahead of schedule for the appointment but had good communication regarding that as well. It was not a good environment (a pungent dog urine smell and things everywhere) and he was still so gracious and professional.

Sam was on time and so friendly. Very honest about the cost to change dryer and stove/oven over to electric from gas, so I did not have him do that. He did a beautiful j o b putting together new light fixture and hanging it the perfect length. So happy with Sam and he will be the only one I will call for future electric needs. Darlene
