FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation about what you need for your event, and for brides, a consultation in-person to try out your wedding makeup look. From there, the client sends a retainer to reserve the date, followed by signing a contract to finalize the booking. We communicate throughout the process to make sure we note any updates or changes to the look or to the day-of logistics.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certificate from Beauty Innovations, plus 11 years of wedding makeup experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It started with a passion to help women feel good about themselves. In elementary school, there was a girl who was constantly bullied for her appearance. She and I were friends. One day, she was getting picked on in PE class, and afterwards, I asked if she wanted to do a makeover, because I hated how she was being treated. She said yes. Because we were just kids, we couldn’t organize the meetup, but my heart was to help. Fast forward to about 20 years later, she got married, and guess who did her makeup? Yes, me! It was such an honor.
