- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client and I start, I like to learn all about them. What do they like, what do they dislike, what their current habits are and what their goals are. From there it's time to create a plan that works for them! I like to call this our baseline. From the baseline we can make adjustments like adding activity, establishing a calorie goal or both. Every process starts with small, manageable changes to achieve great results!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Correctional Exercise Specialist. My approach integrate correctional exercise with strength and physique training so you not only look better, you feel better along the way.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I spent years doing everything that didn't work. I spent hours doing cardio, whittled my calories down to nothing and drove myself crazy. Under a body builders guidance, I learned how to make the most out of my training and to get the results I wanted. By the end, I found a new love for training and a drive to teach others what I know so they can reach their own success. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching a client surprise themselves with what they can achieve and being able to help them along the way!
