Clear communication from Joyee and his math tutor. They made the process easy and were helpful about scheduling tutoring times and dates. I'd also recommend them for college and scholarship planning.

I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Joyee and his team. We've been working with them for quite a while and they've helped us with math tutoring, test preparation, and now going into our senior year, they're helping us prepare for college applications. More specifically, my son's score on the ACT jumped 6 points after 2 months of working with Joyee and Robert. I can't recommend them enough!

Joyee of Thinque Prep was able to offer comprehensive services not just in tutoring, but in test preparation and college counseling. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to help improve ACT and SAT scores. But, he also is very helpful on guiding the student into which types of schools would be a good fit for him/her. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide packages for college admissions coaching, test preparation, and tutoring that will result in a discount for families who pursue more than just one service. Families will not be turned away for inability to pay. We will work with each family on a sliding scale provided they can provide verification of income.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All potential students are requested to take a diagnostic exam and participate in a consultation. During this consultation, we will analyze your exam, talk through educational planning and college readiness, and then work on providing customized advice that will help them prepare for college.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15,000 teaching hours logged. Perfect SAT Score Perfect ACT Score 100% pass rate on the following exams: AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP US History. Improvement of 1-2 letter grade improvement within 4-6 weeks of coaching Membership: National Association of College Admissions Counselors, Western Association of College Admissions Counselors, Independent Educational Consultants' Association.
