They helped me with a lot of math that I wasn't ready to handle at the college level. It was frustrating dealing with online learning because my teacher wasn't able to help me. I went to my school's free tutoring center, but the people there weren't really helpful either. However, Joey and Michael were able to break things down for me and they were more reasonably priced than some of the other places out there.

I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

We were referred to Joyee and Michael to a friend. They've been a huge help for our family because the teacher at school wasn't teaching my son any math. He'd come home frustrated because he felt like he wasn't learning anything at school. After just a couple lessons, he feels like things are so much easier for him. I highly recommend!!!

I am extremely grateful for the tutoring services Thinque Prep provided my son. The evidence is in the results, Thinque Prep was able to raise my sons ACT score by 10 points from his initial practice test and assessment. Having the ability to frequently take practices tests (any weekend) as part of the tutoring service helped identify the weaknesses to focus on and to track progress. When my sons progress started to plateau (5 point improvement), Joyee met with my son and I to determine what needed to be done to continue his progress. Additional tutoring tools offered by Thinque prep such as on-line home study programs and in office drills helped my son continue his progress. The entire staff truly cares about the success of its students and will do whatever they can to ensure that success. My son is multi-sport athlete, scheduling tutor sessions was quite a challenge. Jen the Office Manager was very helpful in accommodating my sons schedule. Thinque Preps rates are very reasonable, especially when compared to other tutoring services of this caliber. Joyee is one of the most hard working and supporting people I have ever met period, nonetheless a tutor. He rapidly increased my SAT scores, and he helped me through AP Calculus when it was borderline impossible for me. He also helped me in AP statistics in which I would set the curves on tests because of him. He would also tutor me after hours if I needed it late into the night even if he had other things to do, and even though for a time I was lazy and didn't do my assignments he still believed in me, and I eventually turned it around. He is a HUGE reason I got into college and I wouldn't have been able to do it without him. Also, it doesn't hurt that he knows everything. There really isn't an area of high school academics he doesn't know. He's the epitome of an expert. He also can find plenty of practice material for you and he really does tutor you to your style If you're having second thoughts about his work ethic, intellect, or teaching ability, don't. He is by far the best tutor I've ever had and I doubt that will change.Next stop for me because of Joyee: NYU!

Our regular tutoring rate is as follows: K-8: $65/hr Regular HS: $70/hr Honors & AP: $75/hr We also provide discounts for regularly scheduling and prepaid packages!
