FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While it is difficult to provide general pricing for architectural services as the scope of work possibilities is so broad, we provide tremendous value with fair and competitive pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we discuss a project by phone or preferably meet, I provide a tremendous amount of free due diligence to vet all potential issues relating to the full requirements of the project which provides prospective clients with a better understanding of their project needs and allows us to provide well defined and clear contracts that define the stages and prices associated with each phase of a project. Once agreed to, we simply begin executing that contract together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an architectural degree from the University of Michigan and am licensed in California. I worked in architectural firms for ten years, then opened my own business in 1992. It was a medium-sized firm, reaching 15-18 employees at times. The big business closed in 2008 due to a serious health issue (stage IV cancer) but after working briefly for other firms during my recovery, I have been running a small business again since 2009 and fully recovered my health long ago.
