Introduction
About me: I ended up in CA via the military after serving 8 years in the Marines but I am originally from Detroit. I have always worked out and over the years even trained myself for competitive bodybuilding. I was told time and time again that I should become a personal trainer, so over time that is exactly what I have done. For several years I was a personal trainer in 1 of the world's largest privately owned and operated fitness centers. It was during that time that I decided to branch out on my own to become my own boss. I have been a personal trainer for approximately 15 years and my job brings me happiness. It was in July of 2013 that I was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer and that battle dropped me from a solid 180 lbs. to 132 lbs. but I won that battle! I have now been cancer free for 2 years. Over the years prior to my bout with cancer I had helped others with cancer rehabilitation but now I was going to have to do the same thing for myself. I lost 50 lbs. of solid muscle and I needed to get a majority of that back on in order to rebuild myself. It hasn't been easy trying to rebuild what I had built in my younger days but I have accomplished a lot and come a long way. Today I still stand strong doing what I do best in an area of life where I am able to help others make a difference in their lives. Change for any of us is not easy and normally comes with great sacrifice but if you have the WILL to make changes in your life for YOURSELF to make YOU happy then I will be here for you during your journey every step of the way. The gym is a private gym and I train people of all ages and of all body types. Don't ever think you will be put on display at my gym. Everyone comes to the gym for one reason and one reason only and that is to MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIVES FOR THE BETTER. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE SOON! I finally found a personal trainer that knows the difference in working a woman's body vs. a man's and Greg Chappel is the guy thats helping me get my body back. He is incredibly encouraging, pushes me but knows my limits as I get stronger. I HIGHLY recommend Greg...plus he is the nicest guy you will ever meet. The small gym atmosphere with a few other trainers and clients is cool too as we are all encouraging each other. Well worth my time and money!! Thanks Greg......

I started training with Greg in August 2015 because I had a fitness goal that I didn't know who to attain on my own. I didn't have any experience lifting weights and I had a hard time motivating myself to workout at home. Greg introduced me to weightlifting. He ensured I used proper form and lifted the right amount of weight for me. Then, he customized a plan, which included personalized workouts, to help me reach my goal. I love working out with Greg because he keeps me accountable, he's extremely positive, and he's great at motivating me to push myself. Even though I reached my original fitness goal months ago, I still workout with Greg multiple times every week. His expertise continues to impress me, and I love the results his workouts produce.
