I recently had work done on my home by MDK ELECTRIC, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I was on a budget and needed high-quality work at an affordable price. After getting a few estimates, I decided to go with Moses from MDK ELECTRIC, and I’m so glad I did.
During the estimate, Moses displayed confidence and took the time to carefully listen to all my concerns and requests. His attitude and knowledge immediately made me feel like my home was in good hands. Once the work was set to begin, he was communicative and punctual throughout the process.
Since my home is older and not exactly up to code, I expected some challenges. However, Moses handled every issue that came up with ease, carefully analyzing each situation and coming up with the best solutions. I needed several burnt-out outlets replaced, a new dedicated circuit added for my washer and dryer, and conduit run under the house. Previously, every time I used the washer and dryer alongside the A/C and microwave, the breaker would trip. Now, thanks to the dedicated circuit, I can cook, do laundry, and stay cool all at the same time—what a game changer!
I also needed a new outlet behind the entertainment system, one under the sink for a garbage disposal and a GFCI outlet installed in the crawlspace for a water leak detection device. Moses handled everything seamlessly, putting my concerns at ease. He was always eager to answer my questions and took the time to explain everything clearly.
What stood out the most was his passion for his work—he truly treats it like an art, paying close attention to fine details and ensuring everything is done right. He was also incredibly organized and clean, which made working with him a pleasure.

I seriously can’t recommend Moses and his team enough! What truly sets Moses apart is the quality of his work compared to other electricians I’ve used. Unlike my past lackluster experiences, I no longer dread home repairs - I’m genuinely excited to see how Moses can improve my home next 🤩 From the moment I reached out on Thumbtack, he was incredibly fast and responsive, scheduling a same-day visit to tackle my bathroom fan vent issue. He arrived promptly, fully equipped with all the tools needed, and immediately diagnosed the problem left by a previous handyman (my new fan/light combo only worked partially, and the vent would have dangerously exhausted into the attic instead of outside).
Moses didn’t just fix the electrical issue—he went above and beyond by coordinating with his roofing specialist the very next day to properly route the duct outside. Moses from MDK Electric did a fantastic job and took care of all my electrical needs! He responded to my inquiry right away and scheduled a meeting for the following morning. He was able to swap out a hardwired shop light with an outlet, replaced some old crumbling wiring with new fresh wiring, and also helped add an outlet to an abandoned box outside.
Moses and his team are very friendly and I would hire them again! 10/10
