Nita did a fantastic job doing Dia de Los Muertos face paint for our Halloween work event! She was extremely skilled, punctual, and professional. Nita perfectly captured our inspiration photos and we received countless compliments on our face paint!

We hired Nita for our little one’s birthday party, and she was absolutely wonderful! She arrived on time, and her face painting was adorable—perfect for a kids’ party. The designs were fun, colorful, and really impressed both the kids and parents. Not only was she great with the face painting, but she also brought along some fantastic music that kept the atmosphere lively and fun. It really added to the overall vibe, and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend her for any children’s event!

Nita was a gem to work with! She responded to my thumbtack request almost instantly. I never had to wait long for an answer, she’s fast to reply. I hired her for an hour to do face painting at my son’s private home daycare for him and 10 friends. She arrived 30 mins early and even started early without an extra fee. Her work is amazing for the price! She could definitely charge more for it but I don’t want her too because then she’ll be too much for me haha I would definitely hire again!

Nita was excellent in every way! She was quick to respond to any questions, she was on time the day of the event, she was friendly yet professional and the quality of her work was beautiful and detailed while also efficient. Little Kids can be difficult to work with at times but she handles it with ease. I appreciate her price as well, I wasn’t sure we could afford a face painter for our daughter’s birthday and I found her price to be reasonable . We hope to continue to use her services in the future !

I'm super late in responding but thank you so much for your review! I'm glad you mentioned the cost as being affordable. Having a face painter at a private event is often a luxury activity. One of my goals is to make face painting at parties as common as having cake and ice cream!

Nita was very prompt and responsive right from the beginning when I contacted her. One day previous to our party, she had a mishap, and her balloon pump stopped working. However, she was very resourceful, and fixed it, so that our party would not get disrupted. She was very friendly and patient with the kids, even the ones who were scared of getting their faces painted. I would definitely recommend her, and call her when we need face painting and balloon twisting in the future!

Golly, yes! I'm so glad the Gorilla glue worked for a temporary fix. I've honestly never fulfilled so many balloon requests! The one's I practiced at home are still floating around. Thank you for your review; I had a lot of fun at your Maui party!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel fees: $2 per mile for bookings outside of La Mesa. Effective June 12th, 2024.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Based upon the information provided through Thumbtack, I'll send a quote that'll include the possible travel fee. I'll recommend another option if what was requested isn't ideal. After you've confirmed you want to book with me, I'll send an invoice via Square with the exact travel fee and explanation of how to pay the deposit and balance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught and I have gone through training at the International Face Painting School's 2024 Summit.
