We hired John to build a custom screen door for our arched doorway and he did a fantastic job. It's been admired by everyone who visits and really compliments our house. He is very personable, easy to work with, and goes the extra mile to make his clients happy. Now that the screen door is done, we've asked him to come back and build some additional doors inside the house. We would definitely recommend him!

John did such an excellent job on our projects. He replaced an existing porch that was nearly falling down with a beautiful, sturdy deck that we love. He was able to finish the deck in less than a week and kept the work area in a neat and orderly fashion. We’ll get so much use out of our new deck. We also needed our front door relocated. The area we were moving the door to was not square and John was able to custom fit a slab door into the existing doorway. The fit is amazing. It works better than the original front door. We would highly recommend John for any project. He was thorough, fast, neat, fairly priced and did a great job. THANKS JOHN!

I finally decided to clean up my back yard, and reached out on Thumbtack for estimates for a Trex deck and wood/cable fence. John came over on a weekend morning to take measurements and promptly got back to me via text with a materials and labor estimate. The labor rate was very fair and it turned out that his material estimate was very accurate. We set a time in January for him to begin, and even though it rained off and on the first week, John was able to make progress on most days. He was great about staying in touch and answered all my questions. As with any construction project, there were curveballs here and there, but he came up with great solutions for all issues. All and all, John did a great job, and I am already saving to have him come back and rebuild my arbor. Only downside to all this is the deck and fence look so great I am going to have to spend my weekends landscaping around the deck to do it justice!

That I give the client a material cost estimate that they pay for and a fixed labor price for myself not adding any overhead or profit to either number..

I review the project on the phone with the client , make a site visit to discuss options and then submit a cost breakdown & schedule..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High school & 45 years in the construction industry..
