I've had two lessons with Yohan Shin and I'm planning to continue with this instructor. What I like about Yohan is that he is very flexible when it comes to scheduling the lessons. Also, taken into account that the violin in general is a very expensive instrument, Yohan's rate is reasonable and affordable. What I like the best is that he is very violin savvy; he knows the structure and the science behind the violin. You don't just learn "how to play" but you understand the structure and mechanics of the violin on another level. I'm very pleased to have chosen Yohan as my instructor.

Yohan is a wonderful teacher... patient, funny and kind. He is teaching my mother who is in her seventies and myself in my forties. He plays beautifully and has taken the time to explain everything about the violin to us as we progress week to week. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a violin teacher.

I have a Bachelor's of Music Performance degree in Violin performance and have played the violin for 25 years. I have taught more than 200+ private and group students for more than 10 years.

I love music and majored in violin performance and minored in viola.
