Our curriculum is based in healthy classical technique which builds a foundation through which you can excel in musical theater, pop, jazz, country, or any style of singing that interests you!

Teacher Bios:
Christina Ramsey
Christina Ramsey is an experienced and in demand voice teacher and performer. In 2019 she co-founded the California based VoxOps Vocal Studios with her husband Colin Ramsey. Her leadership and expertise has led VoxOps’s growth from a few students to a large community of singers of every type.
Christina has spent years honing her knowledge and skills as both a singer and pedagogue. She holds a Master of Music degree from The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston where she studied on full scholarship. She also studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder and received a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Wyoming where she also attended on full scholarship. While pursuing her degrees she taught courses in music history and began to teach private voice lessons.

Colin Ramsey
Bass-Baritone Colin Ramsey has been lauded for his “majestic, rotund, ravishing bass” (Opera Today). During the 20-21 season, Mr. Ramsey will join San Diego Opera as Colline in La bohème, and Betto in Gianni Schicchi, as well as returning to Pacific Opera Project as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, and the Festival Lyrique en Mar as Leporello in Don Giovanni. Other recent engagements include a return to Opera Santa Barbara as Frère Laurent in Romèo et Juliette and the Bonze in Madama Butterfly, joining the Festival Lyrique en Mar as Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor and as the bass soloist in Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, and several productions of La bohème as Colline. His 2018-19 season was an exciting one that included a return to the Los Angeles Philharmonic for John Cage’s Europeras directed by Yuval Sharon. Mr. Ramsey also made his San Diego Opera debut as Marullo in Rigoletto and returned to Opera Santa Barbara for Robert Ward’s The Crucible singing the role of Reverend Hale.

Nicole Morris
Nicole is a southern California native who recently graduated from Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY), where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Among that, she is the sole recipient in her graduating class of the Clarence Straight Award - awarded for her future endeavors in the arts.
Nicole was fortunate enough to perform in numerous main stage musicals at her alma mater, including playing Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act as well as other roles in Ragtime, Cabaret and Wonderful Town.
Her passion for musical theatre has allowed her to pursue it professionally in roles such as a Dynamite in Hairspray at the Laguna Playhouse (2017), while also joining Clear Space Theatre Company's summer season playing Rusty in Footloose and the Usherette in The Rocky Horror Show and other roles in various shows (2018).

Carolina Campero
Carolina is a versatile, fun, and honest teacher who is dedicated to helping her students develop a love and understanding of music; all while passing along all of her fundamental knowledge in order to help them on their musical journey. She has a comprehensive background and training in Piano, Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, and General Music. She makes sure she teaches all her students proper technique to maintain a healthy voice. Whether you're a beginner, advanced, or have a short term issue, she can handle it all.
Carolina also focuses on teaching students HOW to practice at home. She believes every person has their own learning style and practicing style that works best for them. This is a huge part of her students success in lessons that really helps them get motivated and get the results they want. Because of this, her lessons are uniquely hand tailored to each student to make sure they get the most out of her lessons. Through this, she hopes all of her students get to experience more of the fun and power of music!
Some of her students accomplishments include perfect scores on vocal/piano NYSSMA solos (state standardized testing), acceptance into competitive college/high school programs, getting cast as leads in theater productions, and winners of small competitions.

Madison McCurdy
Madison McCurdy is currently a Music major at Orange Coast College, and plans to specialize in Music Education when she transfers to a four-year university in Fall 2021. At the age of 6, Madison began the Certificate of Merit program in piano studies, which she successfully completed through the top Advanced Level. Over the years of pursuing her studies, she consistently received invitations to perform at the Music Teachers’ Association of California State Convention for six consecutive years.
In addition to her piano studies, Madison has trained vocally since childhood. Holding many positions as section leader, from an early age she has taken a leadership role in the development of others’ musicianship and served as a mentor. Her solo background includes featured performances in local concerts, culminating in an appearance as a featured soloist at the Reneé and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Orange County, CA. Madison has a passion for inspiring a love of music in others and looks forward to developing the next generation of musicians.
