I cannot speak highly enough of JJ and his personal training. The quality of JJ's training and knowledge base are apparent from your first session with him. He is a competitive power lifter and athlete, which from a personal training perspective means several things: 1. He intimately understands the body mechanics and movements you're performing in your workouts. 2. He pushes his clients. 3. He is up to date on current literature and knowledge with training.

This was my first time with a personal trainer and honestly my first time working out regularly. I've never been particularly athletic and gyms have always been intimidating to me. I also have some issues with my back and I could never quite find an exercise routine that didn't aggravate my back more. JJ was really knowledgeable and his approach was perfect for where I was at but still intense enough where I was learning and feeling results. I'm really glad I got to work with him!

JJ is absolutely great! He's been helping me with diet and getting a routine going and the training sessions has been fun. I've gotten compliments on being slimmer after starting training with him so that's been a plus too!

JJ is the fitness trainer I have been looking for! As UCI alumni, JJ and I have very much in common, which keeps us from getting too bored during our workouts. He is very humorous and interesting, and never pressured me too much on how much weight to use when training. He will adjust the right weight based on my current condition. He is also a professional trainer with specialized knowledge of fitness. He will remind me to adjust my movements when there are problems. As my first fitness coach, he gave me a lot of encouragement and motivation to keep working out!
