What do you receive with Elle Fitness training? *LIVE 1-on-1 virtual training sessions on Zoom or in-person sessions in Irvine *Individualized training - no cookie cutter workout programs or nutrition plans! *Individualized nutrition guidance *Monthly measurements and body fat percentage checks to ensure results (in person only) *Weekly check-ins *No contracts *Text support Note: Client must have reliable Wi-Fi connection! SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOPS: Self-defense, by nature, is 100% hands-on. Workshops are to be conducted in-person (in Orange County, California) to ensure the client has an appropriate grasp of the material. How does it work/What do clients receive? -Self defense workshops can either be conducted as one 90-minute session for larger groups (such as a one-off workshop workshop at a sorority) or one, 60-minute weekly session over the course of eight weeks. There is the opportunity to continue past the eight-week period if a client would like to hone in on the skills learned, or continue practicing for general fitness benefits -After each session in the eight week period, clients will receive a printed rundown of all material learned for maximum retention -Main skills learned: proper escapes, blocks, strikes, and de-escalation techniques. Self defense is all about defending/mitigating an attack and then escaping as quickly as possible. -Bats and kick bags will be provided during each session for hands-on work -Clients will have fun and learn important skills in the process! Unfortunately, the fitness and martial arts industries are inundated with misinformation, leading to injuries, wasted money, and frustrated clients who never quite reach their goals. If you are looking for a trainer/martial artist/self-defense instructor who is a Kinesiology lecturer and a trainer who teaches other NASM personal trainers, please read below! (*I train your trainer!*) Licenses and certifications: I am a certified personal trainer (CPT) with NASM & NESTA. In addition, I am a fitness nutrition specialist (FNS), corrective exercise specialist (CES), performance enhancement specialist (PES), and a group fitness instructor (GFI) with NASM. Finally, I have a 3rd Dan in Taekwondo and have taught private self-defense workshops at UCLA, U-Chicago, The University of Zurich, & UC Irvine. I am experienced not only in personal training but in various other fitness disciplines. I have a third dan in Taekwondo and have also taught bootcamp, HIIT, kickboxing, water aerobics (at the beginner and athlete level), spinning, self-defense, and step aerobics. I have experience training all over the country and the world, as far as Australia and Switzerland, and have been a trainer for over ten years. My workouts are always tailored to the client's needs, goals, and fitness level. The mark of a good trainer is someone who can adapt to the client's needs and change up the routine, and with my expertise, you may be doing kicks and burpees one day, or perhaps if you have a pool, a tough water aerobics workout the next. You will never be bored, and you will always be challenged. Finally, as a mom myself, I train new moms and expecting mothers to prevent (as best they can) and heal diastasis recti (abdominal separation). Please keep in mind as you search for a personal trainer that you must find someone with nutrition credentials in order to see results and FEEL better. Do not expect to see results if your personal trainer does not give you science-backed (and I don’t mean TheFoodPyramid—major thumbs down) nutrition information! I have a nutrition certification through NASM and have helped body builders as well as those looking to simply shed the pounds and feel better. Finally, I am a trainer for the love of it-- this business of mine is not a 'means to an end,' or a stepping stone to 'what's next?' In addition to my fitness credentials, I have MA degrees from the University of Zürich in English Literature and Linguistics. After going the academic route, I somehow have always returned to training for the love of it. I strive to infuse my life with both academia and fitness, and find that I am privileged to live out my passions. I love transforming minds (and bodies) to adopt sustainable fitness and wellness habits. Fitness is a lifestyle, and the majority of my clients have gone on to adopt permanent healthy lifestyles. Lila is an INCREDIBLE trainer! If you are hesitant about working out or don’t know where to start, she will guide you through it all! I have never been the athletic type but having her as a trainer makes me excited to do physical activity and training. I have been able to start changing my lifestyle with her help and am SOOO EXCITED to see where I will be in the near future under her guidance. You will NOT regret booking her.

Lila is truly amazing. I've been training with her for a few weeks and I could not be happier with my results. I've never worked with a trainer before and I was a little hesitant at first but now I wouldn't want to work with anyone else. You can tell she is passionate about helping people reach their goals. She genuinely cares about my progress as if it were her own and is extremely thorough with teaching me how to effectively do the workouts with emphasizing healthy ways to live rather than just focus on the number on the scale. I was already motivated to seek a trainer but she has truly helped me learn to love working out while focusing on living a healthier lifestyle. I train with her three times a week and we have done something different EVERY single time. She's seriously awesome and soooo encouraging. I highly highly recommend Lila. She goes above and beyond. Total gem.

This is my first experiance with a trainer and I absolutely love it! I feel like I have picked the perfect match. Lila is creative and intense. We have never done the same workout twice, so it never gets boring. Always looking forward to our next sessions and never dreading them. Also I have gotten very quick results, losing almost 2% body fat in only 2 weeks.
