- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a 3rd generation journeyman carpenter so it's kinda in my blood. As a carpenter I can apply the complex thought process to pretty much any trade. I've been working off and on in the construction/maintenance field since the age of 16. As of 6 years ago I've been solo. Out of necessity and survival I learned to work with steel, lay multiple types of flooring, install stone counter tops and backsplashes, install cabinets, install crown/base/door moulding, all aspects of electrical lines in a home including engineering circuits, all aspects of plumbing, automotive diagnostic/repair/rebuild, and much much more.
