Brad was easy to work with, hard working and exceeded our expectations. He refinished red oak floors that had been worn, stained and unkept for 50 years. The floors now look brand new! We love our floors and appreciated his time, work, skills and advice throughout. Thanks to thumbtack for the introduction and thank you Brad for the beautiful floors!

We could not be more satisfied! Rich Hardwood Floors sanded (not screened), re-stained and applied three coats of oil polyurethane to nearly 1000 ft. of hardwood flooring in our houses downstairs, including a large kitchen and dining area, family room, a half bathroom, a TV room, hallway, and foyer. They also removed a carpet and installed new hardwood flooring in our 432 ft. living room. Brad installed a red Oak border that matched the borders on the older floors. The work was completed in less than two weeks. Brad Rich and his crew showed up each day on schedule, performed the work in a most professional manner, and cleaned up the premises before they left. The cost for the entire job was reasonable and we were given a senior discount. We highly recommend Rich Hardwood floors for the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their reasonable prices.

After meeting up and going over what is needed and desired with the floor I will measure and provide a estimate At this time I will discuss the steps and the timing of job We can schedule at this time if satisfied with the estimate
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took wood shop in school and enjoyed working with it .After high school my neighbor who was my friend, had a uncle in the trade I then moved down and to San Diego and worked putting floors in and sanding at San Diego college Marine room in La Jolla After working a few years in SD moved back to the Bay Area and worked for many companies until acquiring my contractors license

Most refinishing is a 4-5 day process with another 48 hours of curing time
