She is FRAUD. We hired Ellys for our daughters birthday decoration on Sep 5. We paid the amount in full. Called and messaged her umpteen number of times with no response 2 days before the event. She finally responded saying that she will return the money in full. But she did not yet. Save your money and peace and go hire someone else. Will open a case with Thumbtack as well. Again, she is fraud and completely untrust worthy.

Absolutely not true, You canceled within 7 days of event which means no refund of deposit. You and I both know you have receive the remaining balance. Unfortunately, we have this policy in place for customers who decide to cancel within 7 days because by that time a lot of materials and money goes into building, painting backdrops, buying balloons/florals etc. I wish you well !
