Cindy is a Nationwide Custom Jewelry Designer & Artist, with a storefront in Hayward, California. * In California, Free Shipping * If out of California, Free Shipping & No Sales Tax The store front is located at 19250 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward, CA. In the "Heart of the Bay". Repairs, Engraving, Jewelry Appraisals, Metal and Stone Identification are for local clients and all other services are nationwide. Specializing in 1 Of A Kind - Wedding Sets & Custom Jewelry, Restoring or Redesigning Heirloom pieces, Repairing or Duplicating Fine or Costume, Watch Repair, Stringing & Restringing, Appraisals & Commissioned Artwork. She taught Art to Children for 14 years, and wrote an Art Instruction Book, titled "Dare to Draw". Since she is an Artist & a Jeweler, she can draw out your ideas first, then either CAD (computer-aided design), Lost Wax, or Hand Fabrication is done to manufacture the piece. Her passion is working with customer's individual tastes and price ranges to create their future heirlooms. If the customer prefers, they may supply the stones and metals, and design the jewelry. Only pay the labor costs, for which there is no sales tax. Many customers prefer this process for sentimental reasons.

This women is crazy and rudely told me that she said to not message her through the app because she gets charged wether I hire her or not. She said she couldn’t do the job because it’s against her beliefs. She’s a Christian and so she won’t make a third eye necklace because it’s a Chakra and symbolizes mindfulness and much more than that. First of all she thought it was an Evil Eye and that the Evil Eye is for casting spells on people but that’s also not at all true. She’s a Christian and has “principles” but doesn’t have principles when it comes to stealing or using Thumbtack to get clients but wants to cut out Thumbtack from getting their cut for their advertising. Completely hypocritical. Disgusting. I hung up on her. She should not be on this platform. Attached a picture of my necklace with the third eye on it. 👎🏻👎🏻

Hi Cynthia, I apologize for offending you. I do pay Thumbtack, I do not cut them out. I prefer to speak to a customer and if I am hired, I personally let them know that I've been hired. I explained how many times people are playing around with the app and I ( I'm sure along with other Merchants) get charged when people are not serious. I am very transparent with Thumbtack and we speak often, they read the messages. I've been in Business over 30 years, and 1 reason is because of my honesty. I have done several custom engagement ring and wedding ring sets over the years. People love knowing that their rings are unique and 1 of a kind.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I've had several customers over the years come to me, because they were not pleased with the work of another jeweler. I've always been amazed when the customer didn't understand what they were actually paying for and were not pleased with the final product. I suggest asking the jeweler many questions and getting the break down, of the price quote, before moving forward.
