FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will work with you to scope out the full extent of the job beforehand. Everything from what is needed to how long it will take and what will be needed from you in order to make the work possible. I will let you know when options are available and the pros and cons of each, including the differences in cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have been doing this for years and service about 200 jobs per year. So, I have honed the skill of being able to scope out a job pretty quickly. I have become quite good at knowing what I will need, both in parts and labor as long as you can tell me just a little bit about the job. If you are not sure what is needed, have no fear. I will come to you and throw out ideas. Show you pictures etc., until you have figured out what you want. Once I commit to your job, then I will be there no matter what.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a unique skill for mechanical things all my life. My summer jobs from high school on have been about fixing things. Most recently was a job with a high end cabinet company. 40 years of experience has put me in the category of "been there done" that :)
