FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price fairly and use all legal people. I also pay payroll taxes, liability and workman's comp so my prices are sometimes higher than others. I like to pay my guys a livable, very fair salary and not work them to the bone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up a time to meet. Introduce myself with a smile :) and walk through your garden. Talk about what needs to be done and what projects need to get started, whats your color pallet or main purpose for the front and back yards For maintenance clients, we agree to a price for set hours per month, figure out a day and put you in the schedule this week or next. For landscape projects, I usually take notes and then walk through the property again and work up an estimate for the work discussed. If it is a big job, I will send an estimate via email. Then you would review it, ask any questions and then sign the estimate, agreeing to the price. I would take a down payment on the job and then put you in the schedule to get started. If there are any changes in the work, both parties will sign a 'change work' estimate. We finish the job, your happy and collect the final check. I usually follow up with a client and check on the work. But hopefully you will use my organic gardening service and we can maintain what we have built on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Cheers!
