I live in Northridge. My home has a Mediterranean design... with that comes smooth stucco and all of its problems. My parents and I were looking for a contractor to help us fix the cracks in the stucco around the entire house. After a short Google search I found Ranchwood Construction near my area. Stephen and Sam were amazing the to deal with. Stephen was my point of contact, his communication was fast, smooth and clear. My parents and I have hired several contractors in the past and although they did good work, I’ve always had problems with lack of communication or slow/sloppy communication. Stephen filled all the gaps other contractors hadn’t. The work came out great, we did find a bit of water damage that appeared after the recent storm, they helped us mitigate the issue without breaking our budget. I will definitely be recommending them to my neighbors.

I recently purchased a home in Granada Hills. The previous homeowners left the property in pretty bad shape. Stephen and Sam had worked on some homes in my neighborhood. All the neighbors recommended them. They came over and were able to help me remodel my kitchen, change windows, change my sliding door and redo the flooring to the entire house. Stephen was my point of contact for most of the project timeline. I cannot emphasize how well the communication was. I’ve worked with serval other handymen/contractors in the past, 8/10 times their communication is terrible, it takes 3 hours to get a response, they don’t show up on time, they leave the project site dirty full of dust/trash, the list goes on and on. Stephen and the rest of the Ranchwood Construction team show up on time everyday and leave my house clean when they leave and most of all response to messages in a timely manner. Thank you everyone for making my remodel as smooth as possible, I’ll definitely be calling you again.

Our pricing is dependent on the difficulty of the job. We also believe in "what you pay is what you get". My team ensures keeping proper communication with out clients as well as hitting timeline deadlines and doing the work up to code.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process looks like the following: 1. Phone call (pre-estimate) 2. Free estimate appointment - Myself or my project manager will come out and walk through the property with you and take notes. 3. Bid submission 4. Project Scheduling 5. Project starts 6. Project completion walkthrough
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a licensed contractor for 20 years. Through my teenage years in working with him I picked up the trade.
