This was my first time hiring a personal trainer and I just wanted to get started on my fitness journey. I was nervous at first because I've never done something like this. I have to say Henry is very professional and punctual. He planned out my week on days I did not meet with him because I couldn't afford to have too many sessions, my budget was more limited, so we only planned for once a week and he mapped out the rest for me to do. He held me accountable by checking up on me and is very responsive with text, despite how busy his schedule is... He met me at my home, but he's open to meeting outside if that works better for you. There was a few times when I had to meet him at the park and he was still able to work around that. I would highly recommend working with him if you're considering a personal trainer. I worked with him for 6 months and I may rehire him again in the future if I start slacking off. lol

If only I could pick all 5 qualities about Henry, including Value and Punctuality. I am glad I choose Henry out of all the options of trainers available. I can tell from the way he instructs and all of his advices, he truly understands the science of health and fitness. He has been training my overweight son for just less than 2 months thus far, and I am very happy with his progress. Other people have noticed my son's improvement in his physical appearance and strength/energy. Henry is also a nutritionist and prepares meal preps weekly for my son as well. We feel blessed to have Henry. In addition, he has been featured in a book by famous author J.W. Grant titled "The Complete Guide to Strength: Build Muscles and Get Strong." Find it on Amazon!

I hired Henry to help me find a fitness plan due to me having being diagnosed with diabetes. Henry has been a great help to my life and my health. With the fitness plan that I received from Henry my life has changed drastically from where I was when I was diagnosed. From the moment we met I knew I had found a great trainer. He took the time to get to know my fitness goals and we both devised a plan on how I could get there. He was very fun to work with because he makes working out fun! And we had a lot of really great conversations because he gets to know his clients not like other trainers who just come for the money. I can truly say Henry is very passionate about his work and put a lot of effort into really making sure I was heard and was comfortable doing the exercises. He truly cared for me as his client and I’d definitely recommend him if your looking for a trainer that is fun and gets to know your fitness goals and makes you feel like you have a friend in the process. Very professional, very friendly and doesn’t waste your time, you will get results! Just be sure to put in the work and you can get that summer body soon!!!

    My experiences include: -3 years as an EMT -1 year+ of rehab work with an emphasis in people with pre-existing injuries and disabilities. Certificate: Bachelor's in Kinesiology: Exercise Science

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I've always been passionate about health and fitness since I was young, and I believe that taking care of our bodies is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. If I can recall, the first time I started lifting weights was when I was 10 years old. That's why I decided to major in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in college - I wanted to deepen my understanding of the human body and how it works.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    The primary clients I work with are young professionals, but not limited to that age group. My average clients are ages 20s-40s and 60-80s. The majority of my clients are looking to optimize their health by building muscle, leaning and reduce fat. The senior population I work with have pre-existing conditions, and want to improve muscle weakness and mobility.
