Hi, I'm Nancy! My mission is to provide my clients with decluttering and organizing for an affordable price. I've been organizing homes and offices for over 10 years. I have always been very organized and enjoy making a space from pure chaos to clean. I understand that some of my clients are overwhelmed. Their at a place in their life where the space has taken over their thoughts. Some of my clients hate being home because of the clutter or disorganization. They haven’t invited people over in years because their embarrassed that it’s gotten so bad. I have never met a space that I can’t organize. I have seen it all. I see people at their most vulnerable. Nancy was sent from heaven on the back of an angel. I’m 8 months pregnant and in desperate need of not only organization but making my house a ‘home’. Nancy makes you feel comfortable in the most vulnerable of times and never shames you. Just comes up with solutions and she has the ability to envision new spaces. Really glad I decided to get Nancy to come over for decluttering and organization. She's very well knowledgeable in this business and I was getting very overwhelmed especially with a newborn and a toddler running around. Nancy helped with creating space, a safe space even for our home and I love every part of what she did. I've added some pictures for reference.

After putting off cleaning the garage for far too long, today we finally were able to tackle the project, thanks to the help of Nancy from Create Your Joy Organizing. I've had anxiety about this project for some time. Due to physical limitations I knew I was going to need help (a lot of help) for not only the garage but for some future projects in the house as well. I have been looking for the "right" person for over a year; someone I could be myself around, not feel judged by and one with whom I really felt would work WITH me (I have a lot of sentimental things and I have a hard time of getting rid/letting go of stuff). Nancy is definitely that right person. First she has a positive upbeat personality that make you believe everything is possible, at the same time she tells you like it is with the utmost respect and kindness. She encourages and suggests but doesn't push, she advocates for keeping the precious sentimental treasures, but is realistic about suggesting what to keep, donate, sell and toss. She is extremely flexible. She's comfortable working with you side by side as that support person, or at your request she'll happily take the reins and the tasks will get magically done and labled then she'll walks you through showing you where everything is. In some cases I really wanted to be hands on and go through everything. In others I was fine to have Nancy run with it. And this worked great for me. She frequently checked in with me throghout the day to see if I was feeling overwhelmed or needed a break. The day went VERY smoothly. At no time did I feel rushed, pressured, anxious or frustrated. The shear magnitude of the task itself was a bit daunting, but she frequently shared words of encouragement. I'm not sure how much one can actually "enjoy " cleaning the garage, but I definitely enjoyed my day with Nancy. She is an exceptional person and a pleasure to be around. We are already planning on having her come back. If you need a space organized, even if you are a real clutter bug like I am, there is no one I could recommend more highly than Nancy. You will be SO GLAD you did!

Nancy, Create Your Joy Home Organizer was simply the BEST!!! My garage looks amazing. So much space now. I’m no longer overwhelmed by clutter. She’s very helpful at figuring out what to keep, give away, discard. She created a very logical, organized flow I can hopefully maintain. Lovely personality, person and a joy to work with! I’m the most affordable, I have passion for organizing. I am willing to work with your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on what area we are working on. Normally, I will access the area and come up with a game plan, the time it will take to get it done in a timely matter. Normally, I have the client send me pictures of the space or spaces they want to organized. I let the client know up front how many hours I believe it will take to get the space organized.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born with the gift of understanding people, hearing their needs. Not passing judgment. I was born with the eye to organizer.
