Introduction
I have been playing drums professionally from the age of thirteen years old. I have years of experience performing/touring, recording/producing and educating.
I have been fortunate to perform with some legendary artists such as: Maynard Ferguson, Greg Adams (Tower of Power), Aly and AJ, Toni Childs, and numerous other world class musicians.
I have several students who have gone on to become professional drummers in high profile bands.
My focus with my students is to prepare them for professional working situations in the areas of live performance, touring and recording.

Having taken lessons from a number of teachers over my 16 years as a musician, I can truly say Evan is the best. He has an amazing talent for making seemingly complex concepts and difficult patterns accessible. He has a LOT of experience as a musician, and as a teacher for all levels, beginner to master. Simply put, he’s a great teacher. He’s extremely knowledgeable in drumming, rhythm, and time. He has the ability to teach everything from simple beginner concepts to advanced professional level concepts in a way that’s easily understandable and useful in all musical situations. Evan himself is a very versatile drummer and musician. His abilities allow him to play and teach almost any genre at a very high level. I highly recommend you study with him if you are serious about drumming.
