You could have done that, but you went right to wanting to charge over $1500 to reclaim and re-flare. Also, the guy I hired wanted only $45 per pound of R134a, where you were charging over $100 per pound! But I appreciate that you told me up front that I might want to check with other people. The guy I hired charges higher service call fees but his hourly rates are much more reasonable. He ended up coming out the same day you came, and we now have a leak less cool air system for about $465. I appreciate your professionalism and good quick diagnosis."See more
