He makes learning jazz piano and music theory really easeful, tailors his lessons to what you’re interested in (instead of a rote set of exercises) and managed to always find me exactly what I was interested in doing even if it was esoteric, and was really encouraging and positive. My goal was to get a thorough grounding in music theory and learn how to arrange piano for my own songs, and I was amazed how easily it came with his instruction after years of wandering through pop piano on my own. Bilinda has performed in Vienna, Salzburg, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and China. Besides teaching and performing solo and chamber music, Bilinda is also actively accompanying instrumentalists and vocalists. She is also a church pianist and choir accompanist and instructor. I love sharing the musical gifts to students.
