Introduction

I specialize in mobile yoga services, customizing every yoga lesson for your body and it's needs. In your home, on your time. Due to COVID-19, private weekly lessons are happening over FaceTime, Zoom or Google video chat. One-time lessons may happen in-person, if they are outside and masked. Please reach out for in-person lessons only if you are in Santa Cruz County or if you are looking for a one-time lesson within Silicon Valley. I asked if Sonya was willing to do a yoga session for me and my bridesmaids before my wedding. It was an early start and bit of a maze to find us, but she was all set up and ready to go for our session before I had arrived. She brought mats and antibacterial wipes which made me feel safe and clean in a Covid-19 world. The session was just what I needed before my big day. She made the class for all levels and did some great breathing exercises to center us. She helped us get into poses when we had trouble and helped modify where needed. She’s incredible!

Sonya was so responsive and professional setting up a wonderful private yoga session for our bachelorette party. I felt comfortable that all COVID protocols were being followed and that we knew exactly what to expect. The day of, she arrived exactly when she said she would and even scoped out our perfect beach location beforehand so she knew exactly where we were headed. The yoga was phenomenal! The perfect blend of stretching, relaxing and just enjoying our beach setting. We had a mix of experience with yoga and she did a great job of meeting everyone where they were at and offering modifications. Thank you Sonya!!

Sonya was delightful from the 1st moment we connected! Hired her for an hour session for myself and my 3 friends. We all having aging ailments and Sonya tailored each routine for each of our individual needs. All the time being upbeat, professional, and fun! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A single 60-minute private session is $75 for one person or $105 for two-people. Prices are lower for shorter sesssions and more expensive for longer lessons or multiple people.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco's 500-hr Advanced Studies/Teacher Training Program, Kofi Busia's 100-hr Instructor training, the diploma program at Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda, and Cornell University.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Yoga has helped my body in many ways and I want to share its effects with others.
