Contacted 5th Generation Plumbing late on a Friday night when my 8-year-old water heater was backfiring. They replied that night and said they could come diagnose the issue the next morning. I appreciated that they were willing to diagnose the issue (for free) instead of suggesting an outright replacement (like another company did). This saved me money and gained my trust. Doing some research before Sid came to the house, I found that the water heater was part of a recall for a broken part (which was the likely issue). I had the manufacturer send me the part which would arrive in a couple days. Sid said he could do the install the day after the part arrived, but 5 minutes later, to my surprise, he called back saying he would be able to squeeze me in a day early. I was very impressed that he took the time to call back when he could have said nothing. Shows me great communication and customer service are important to this company. When I made my initial contact for service, Christie was promptly replying to my questions. Super impressed considering this was late at night. When I needed a detailed invoice for the work, Christie sent it over right away and asked if every bit of info that I needed on the invoice looked ok (and to let her know if it needed more detail). The pricing was also very fair for the work that was done, and Sid corrected some incorrect work that was done by a previous plumber. The two most important things to me are communication and trust, which I experienced both here. I would not hesitate to call 5th Generation Plumbing in the future.

I had an outdoor hose pipe leak that was somewhat complicated. Sid came out and gave his assessment. He explained exactly what the repair would entail which was very complex. I was happy to know exactly l what to expect and he gave me a reasonable estimate. He also recommended a product which I tried and worked great. Sid knows his stuff! Highly recommended!

5th Generation is great! Jerry, the plumbing technician who did the job was punctual, extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite. Work was performed with precision and the leak is fixed! Price was also very reasonable, great value. Jerry took the extra care to use a heat shield and had all the tools and supplies needed to do the job the best possible way. Will be recommending 5th Generation to friends and family!

I called 5th Generation Plumbing in the morning and the job was completed the same day. Sid arrived on time, was friendly, and considerate of my concerns and preferences. He diagnosed the problem and provided alternatives to remedy the problem. I needed the bathtub plumbing hardware replaced which included the hot and cold water stems, cross handles, bell flange, nipples and spout. Sid found the exact match for the stems I needed and the bell flanges that was perfect for what I wanted. His work was thorough and completed to both our satisfaction. Sid also told me to look out for any possible leaks before he left and assured me the work would be fixed if any problems came up. I appreciate and thank Sid for the work he did. Thanks!
