Our mission is to help dogs and dog owners live better together. We utilize balanced training methods to effectively teach owners how to communicate what they want from their dogs and teach dogs to understand what is wanted from their owners. For dogs, we focus on laying a foundation to be trained in obedience commands, behaving in different social settings, and if necessary, correct any pre-existing behavioral issues. For the owners, we provide a general understanding of behaviors of each breed and how to continue training on their own in the future. As soon as we finished our first session with Osama, I immediately scheduled another one because I could see the positive changes in our new 4.5 month old mini Australian Shepherd. Osama gave us the tools and confidence that we could help our Aussie learn how to become crate trained, overcome his tentativeness, walk on the leach without backwards pulling. He helped show us how to start basic corrections to teach our Aussie that he cannot herd our cats or free range chicken. While we have a long way to go, we learned so much in just 2 hours. He also brought his own older dog to help our puppy build confidence and learn how to interact with another dog. I highly recommend Osama. He taught both us and our puppy so much.

Osama has been great! He responded in a timely manner, explained about the service through a phone call and is very knowledgeable! I did a puppy training package and I strongly recommend for everyone. He teaches you how to train your dog and help with any questions for new and experienced dog owners (this is my third dog).

My dog was super wild, and very reactive to other dogs, as well as stubborn. OneStopK9 helped with his basic commands as well as a great base to help with modifying his behavior. He’s super communicative while having your dog and send constant updates! Great dude, pretty happy with the training- ESPECIALLY the leash manners!!!

We did private sessions with Osama and were taught so much in how we could help develop the behaviors that we wanted in our puppy. Our puppy became a VERY well behaved pup after only five 1hr sessions (done in 1 week) because we got the knowledge to give our puppy some structure and guidance in the most positive way. It really built our confidence after learning these tools; which in turn built our pups confidence too! Osama teaches you how to help your dog be introduced to situations in which they will have to make a choice, and you are taught how to keep encouraging it for the better, and make it an everlasting personality trait. He helped us understand the difference between training a command and the work it takes to train behavior. This was such a rewarding experience and pivotal in my understanding of dogs!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Take in as much information as possible about the current behavior and level of the dog and then explain to the owner the steps I will take in order to work through these issues. Basic obedience commands are a bit different since it’s almost always the same routine and structure.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my own puppy and wanted to be able to set some ground rules to have a good relationship with my dog. I fell In love with training and decided to keep working with him and expanding my abilities
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different breeds of small to large dogs from frenchies, pomskies, German Shepard’s, dobermans, Rottweilers, pitbulls, Australian Shepard’s, Belgian Malinois, etc.
