FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Together let's decide what is the correct, fair cost for creating your video, one that works with your budget. I'll then co-write the script (with you and your team), produce, direct, film and edit your video for this one cost, without your having to be concerned about the number of filming days or editing time. I also include at no cost to you all animations, music, sound effects, pictures and graphics that I use in your video - all are royalty-free, and include all buy-out rights, so you never have to pay for rights to these creative elements used in your video.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will learn all about your company or organization, your products or services - everything that you need your new video to do - who you are wanting to reach - why, and what you want viewers to know and feel when they watch your video, and the action you want them to take. Most important is that your video clearly and easily presents your message, that your viewers quickly understand your message, feel your passion as they watch, and are then motivated to take action. My clients say working with me to create their video is easy, fun, and that I bring added value to their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the past 15 years, I've written, directed and edited 400+ creative videos for a wide variety of clients around the country. I'm honored with 25+ major international awards for videos I've created, and I'm a judge with the International TELLY Awards for the past 7 years. Before I became a filmmaker, I was a top San Diego studio audio recording engineer and producer, and then was a top Southern CA audio tech for about 1,000 videos, TV shows and movies. So, for your video, sound is very, very important to me - it's just as important as the video you see. Watch any of my clients' videos to hear how clean and crisp everything sounds. For me, your video's soundtrack is just as important as what you see.
