Can only choose 3 highlights of Dave’s work, otherwise would have chosen all 5. Dave kept me and my tenant informed all the way from parts ordering till work was done. He shuffled his schedule to fit my tenant’s schedule without me worrying about it. Went out of the way to fix some other small issues he saw when on site. Straightforward pricing, no ridiculous adds-ons. The price he quoted is great compared to others as well. Highly recommend!

Seems like a nice person, but I would urge you to not pay upfront until he’s done with the job and you can fill 2 hours of work time (he charges a two hour minimum regardless of the time it takes.) Also, he does not provide the receipts if he purchases items for you.

Miriam, I never asked you to, nor did you ever pay up front. My profile is clear about the two hour minimum. This is very standard and covers the costs for me traveling to home depot to purchase your materials, of which i paid for before even meeting you or requiring a deposit, and for doing the research you requested on the materials. I never objected to providing a receipt and it's not kind to suggest otherwise. I hope you find the right person for all of your repair and maintenance needs. All the best to you, David

I charge $50/hour for general labor. Else I charge on a per project basis
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's helpful if the customer can thoroughly describe the project goals upfront, providing any relevant pictures and historical notes that will help me understand the expected outcome. I am happy to travel onsite to review the project with you and would only charge $50 for the review, crediting this back to you should you hire me for the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building/renovating homes for over 20 years and have skills in most aspects of home design/management/build/repair.
