Jose did a great job. It was a tough and uneven location and he smoothed it out perfectly with his jackhammer before laying the fencing. Did the work fast and with perfect quality. Even painted the gate unasked so it would all look nicer. I highly recommend.

Highly recommend Jose and his team. He responded promptly and came to look at my project as soon as he could. It was a tough job that required drilling out several feet of concrete to fix a sliding gate, but he took it on without hesitation. He gave me a quote on the spot and completed the project the next day. Very satisfied with the quality and attention to detail he demonstrated as well. Will definitely call him again in the future!

Jose at General Work is a very talented and reliable contractor. He was prompt, did excellent work at a fair price, communicated well, and worked with me when we had any project misunderstandings. He is one of the best companies I've hired in a long time. My Project: I had a project with several complex needs that had to be accomplished to make it work properly. - Needed a >3' retaining wall with a fence near my back property line. I was gaining 3-4' in the back but couldn't go beyond the line; it was on a grade, and we had to stay under 3' for city ordinances. - Needed to demo the existing cement wall down to the soil level. - Needed to add a 12' long steel-framed sliding gate. - Needed a door (aka mandoor) next to the gate. - Needed a removable yet lockable post between the gate and the door. - Needed room for my RV to clear with an existing grade and within a certain turning angle. - Needed everything lockable, with the ability to add a gate motor later. He took my drawing and engineered this project with meticulous attention to detail, which turned out spectacularly! I can't tell you how happy I am that Jose and his crew made my vision come to fruition.
