In summary: He redid our shower, his prices were extremely reasonable and was very attentive to our concerns, paid very close attention to detail in his work and adhered to high standards. Compared to all the other estimates/companies we dealt with, Oliver was by far one the best in all the factors mentioned above.Our bathroom had a mild mold problem that needed remediation, and in the process, we decided to take down the old shower considering we were planning on replacing it anyway. Initially, we only found Oliver and Co. to repair our drywall, and exhaust fan, as we had previously found someone else to do our shower. But even with such a small project, Oliver was extremely attentive and responsive in answering all my questions. We communicated through text and he asked all sorts of questions and pictures to make sure he fully understands what needs to be done. Fast forward a few weeks later, our original shower builder fell through, and then I asked Oliver if he would do the shower as well and he obliged, and once again was very detailed in how he would approach the project.Considering how we had a prior mold problem in the shower, and another separate mold problem that was caused by our water heater, we were understandably in a place where we were extra paranoid about future mold problems arising, since fixing them was very costly and time consuming. As a result we unwittingly barraged Oliver with all sorts of questions concerning the waterproofing of the shower, and were trying to do whatever is possible to be fully preventative of mold problems down the line. Even before we officially agreed to go with Oliver, he was very very detailed in answering our questions to assure us that whatever will be done will prevent future problems down the line. And as far as we can tell from our own research, Oliver didnt appear to cut corners or skimp on materials, and seemed to use the materials and waterproofing techniques most aligned with modern standards, which we really appreciated. Along with his very reasonable estimates compared to what we got from many others, Oliver was also the one that paid the most attention to our concerns and questions and because of that we decided to go with him.During the process, in addition to addressing every concern we had, he was very professional, and this extends to all of his employees and subcontractors. Not only would he explain what he was doing each day, at the end of the day he would fully clean up the work area for us, which is a minor detail but left a great impression on us!Additionally,he made the process extremely easy for us. We knew we wanted to replace the shower, but we had no idea what type of shower, enclosure, shower pan, showerhead, brands, types, etc. etc. we wanted exactly, we didnt have a strong preference on these so we didnt do much research on them. Oliver was nice enough to show us many models/types to choose from, and it helped us greatly in picking out the details, which is another small detail we appreciated. Oliver was able to ask us our preferences and help us pick out choices rather than just telling us to go look for ourselves.In summary, our summer was riddled with mold issues we had to address, and with the many contractors and companies we had to deal with, Oliver was by far one of the most professional and courteous we had met, and we would strongly recommend him for any project!"See more
