Nate doesn't advertise himself as a designer, but he is. While we had a strong idea what we wanted, we did not have a fully finished design. He listened to what we wanted, added some ideas to help the final look pop, and we have a design that is exactly what we hoped for. The materials he used were excellent quality, and the installation was impeccable. We could not be more happy with the result. My wife and I sometimes just sit and stare that the finished product and are like "wow, this is so beautiful."
Nate clearly cares about his work. He doesn't just build something for you, he builds it as if he is going to live in it when it's done.

We selected Long Fine Carpentry based on their Thumbtack ratings and an interview with Nathan Long to install crown molding throughout our home. Our experience was quite positive throughout the project and the results met and exceeded our expectations. We have some long walls in the house and on final final inspection we couldn’t locate any seams.
Nathan sets a high standard for work quality, reliability and his concern for our satisfaction with the finished product. Nathan will be my first call for any future carpentry needs.

3 people responded to my request bid. One quoted me a price that was out of my price range another gave me a reasonable quote, but didn't respond to additional questions.
Then Nathan responded to my request. We talked the same day, set a date and he arrived as promised. He's a licensed Carpenter and I consider myself lucky that he was available. Probably the best carpentry work I've ever seen.
When I'm ready for my next carpentry project, Nathan is the one I'll contact.

Nathan Long did a fantastic job of converting our closets from slider to mirrored french/hinged doors. He communicated well throughout the project, from showing up on time, measuring/specing out the project, evaluating alternatives, and making small tweaks. He was transparent in his pricing and walked through the completed work and time and material for each project element. His partner Brian was also very professional and skilled and tackled a number of issues along the way. Together Nathan and Brian make a great team and completed the project within the allotted time, include a few additional items outside of the project scope. Pricing was more than reasonable considering Nathan's approach to doing business, quality, and genuine trustworthiness. I would certainly recommend him and plan to use him on future projects.

Nathan is a professional and his work quality is great! He was punctual and worked with very little direction. I had showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he went to work. He was able to finish the work in the timeframe he quoted and cleaned up after himself. The accent wall turned out so nice and I'm excited and I look forward to working with Nathan again on future projects in my home.
