- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm committed to providing good value for my clients and will do my best to match your budget. I use all-inclusive pricing, meaning that once you submit a request, I will provide a bid for the entire cost of the event, and will provide specifics on what this includes. I will also provide you with an hourly rate for extending the hours of your event if you end up requiring my services for longer than originally expected.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding your preferences and event goals is key to making sure you'll be satisfied with the services provided. I always offer and encourage a pre-event consultation, which allows us an opportunity to communicate about your music tastes, event logistics and other relevant details to ensure that everything goes smoothly and lives up to your expectations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has been one of my main interests as long as I can remember. Growing up, I would always listen to my favorite artists over and over again to better understand what made their songs so special. I began producing my own music at 12 and received formal music production training in and after college. After graduating, I began learning how to DJ as a way to enhance my productions and I soon discovered that I had a real interest in and affinity for curating music for parties and events. I often found myself digging through thousands of songs to select the right music for a given event - a true labor of love - and seeing the way that this could transform a party was immensely rewarding. As I moved into DJing professionally for a wider variety of clientele and event types, I loved the opportunity it provided to put my decades of interest (some may say obsession) in music to good use, helping make the special moments in peoples' lives as fun and unforgettable as they can be!
