Gary is a consummate professional in every sense! A pleasant person to work with, a skilled master carpenter, kitchen designer, and general contractor with an eye for design and attention to detail. I chose Build It Construction over two other contractors because of Gary’s excellent reviews and because his bid was within the budget set by my insurance. Gary custom built new cabinets, completed tile work, repaired walls, reinstalled plumbing and appliances, and restored my kitchen like new after incurring significant water damage. He and his assistant came every morning on time and the project was completed on schedule. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do and takes great pride in their work. That’s Gary! I trusted his recommendations for some improvements and I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the finished result. I am a 30-year homeowner and I would call Build It Construction (aka: Gary) again with future home improvement projects.

Gary and his crew are very thorough and strive for perfection. They make sure they clean up every day before they leave. They remodeled my whole house which is 56 years old and had never had any upgrades. It was a challenge to say the least. It now looks like a beautiful brand new house. If you are unsure of what exactly you want, Gary has a lot of great ideas. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome.

Gary with Build It was great for our kitchen restore! His bid was the lowest we got, but it wasn’t just the price we considered - it was his early availability, his high-rated reviews, and our sense from the reviews that he puts the customer and job quality first. Some deviations from initial bid came up during the project (additional wants or changes on our part), and he was very flexible to our needs. As a customer who (fortunately) doesn’t have to go through these jobs often, it’s hard to know all the specifics up front, so his flexibility and advice along the way was much appreciated. He specializes in full kitchens, so I figured our partial kitchen restore from water damage would be fairly quick for him (he estimated 4 days), and he was in and out with just 3 days of work, and even that was despite an unexpected staffing issue one day, so the early delivery was despite being short-handed. We’re used to contractors always taking longer than they say! We would definitely consider Gary again for future needs, but he left our kitchen in such a great state that I don’t anticipate any new kitchen needs for a long time to come!

We highly recommend Gary and his team at Build-It. While the end result is fantastic, our recommendation is based on the entire process. They were on time and on budget. They were conscientious of our home and the fact that our lives were upended by the construction. Gary himself never missed an appointment and was extremely reliable. The original quote was complete and understandable and each of the two change orders during remodel were communicated clearly and executed at our discretion. Gary can design whatever it is you want your home to become, even if you are not exactly sure what that is. He has great relationships with various vendors, including flooring, counter tops, and cabinetmakers. And Build-It coordinates all the interactions to make sure everything happened on schedule. Most important with this type of investment is the end result. Gary and Build-It completely transformed our kitchen and living room. Gary is a true craftsman and ensured that every detail was complete before signing off on the job. Every day we get to enjoy the beauty and function of our new space and we have Gary and his team to thank for it.

We are Design - Build Licensed General Building contractor. I can save you a lot of time and money, small company with low overhead, First visit is free. I have over 30 years of building (Master Carpenter) and Design experience. I am a Award winning CKD Certified Kitchen Designer, We do 3D design on computer, Looks like you are standing in the room. Amazing!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet them at the job first. Get all the information, work out a amazing design, and price out the project. Then we do the project "One AT A Time" Full service stay on job till done, this makes the project move quickly, with out lays. We do high quality work that everyone loves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master Carpenter 4 year apprenticeship 25year Journeyman, 30 years of high quality work. Certified Kitchen Designer "CKD" and building design, award winning, I do all the architectural drawings for permits.
