We met Alia at obviously a very stressful time in our life. We were embarrassed, defeated and just exhausted trying to figure out how to get ourselves out of the situation we had put ourselves in. From the moment we met her, she was kind and never once made us feel like she was judging us. She spent so much time explaining things we didnt understand. She told us in advance what the next steps would be and what some of the possibilities were (we werent sure if we would have to file chapter 7 or 13). She was honest, thorough and completely professional. I without a doubt would recommend her. She honestly helped us get on with our life and create stability for our boys.

WOW! I cannot express how committed Alia Khan is to her craft. She was so detailed with my Chapter 7 bankruptcy and made me feel so comfortable during such a rough time of my life. Being knowledgeable about the process and caring about my emotions as a client is not an easy task, but Alia was able to do both with ease. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A Chapter 7/13 bankruptcy is anywhere between $2000-2500. This includes the filing fee, credit report fee, petition preparation, representing you in court and unlimited communications with the Attorney. I also can make payment plan arrangements with clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I receive an email or phone call from a client, I return the call/email that day. I have a preliminary phone conversation with them to determine whether they qualify for a Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy. If they decide to hire me, they would have unlimited communications with me (sole Attorney) and I would represent them in their bankruptcy every step of the way. Finally, I represent clients in the Bay Area and San Joaquin County
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Communication Studies. I have a Law degree and have been practicing law for about 13 years. I have extensive client and trial experience.
