Iam a member of the Music Teachers Association of California. I teach theory, technique, sight reading, and interpretation of music. Students age range is 4 to 75. I have students who do the CM program a part of the Music Teachers Association of California. I belong to Performing Arts Society of Contra Costra County. My degree is BA in Music. Ms. Sharon Yost has been an excellent Piano teacher to our eight year old daughter with not only playing classical music but also theory as well. We were amazed at how fast she was learning and playing in such a short period of time.

Sharon has been teaching my son Geno piano for a little over a year now. I can honestly say she changed his life and improved his piano skills tremendously. He went from playing simple music by ear to reading and playing complicated music. Because of his ability to read music he was able to participate in school performances and participate in music competitions. Sharon was patient, sweet and stern at the same time. Geno had many piano teachers before Sharon but he hated the Sharon had been teaching my son Geno for a little over a year now. I am honestly say she changed his life and improved his piano skills tremendously. He went from playing simple music by ear to reading and playing complicated music. Because of his ability to read music he was able to participate in school performances and participate in music conditions. Sharon was patient, sweet and stern at the same time. Geno had many piano teachers before Sharon but non of them were able to keep him interested for long. Geno loves Sharon and tells me that she is by far the best teacher he's ever had!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I teach 30 minute 45minute and one hour lessons. Half-hour lessons are $45.00. The lessons are one-on-one. I have also free of charge group theory sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is teaching sight reading, interpretation of music, theory, and technique. Introduction of learning to play and enjoying the instrument. I teach violin and piano.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
