- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free initial consult to determine the time needed to complete your project- If I provide you with a quote, then that’s the time it will take. I finish it within that time or I work till it’s done at no extra cost. Once I begin the project I begin with my time clock on my phone, I time out for any breaks and this keeps it fair with my clients because they are sent the time log which is included on my invoice. I also haul away donations (1 car load per session) at no extra charge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started when I was about 10 years old, organizing every room in my families house. In high school, I’d help my friends with their own bedrooms because I enjoyed it so much. It wasn’t until I became older and realized I could make a career out of it that I started setting up my business and here I am now.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take advantage of any organizer offering a free consultation, this way you can get a good sense of their personality and their approach and method when it comes to sorting and purging your things. You can learn as much about them as they are about you during the consultation so fire back questions you want answers to and that will save you from choosing an organizer that isn’t a good match for your project.
