FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200-Registered Yoga Teacher & 50Hr-Yoga Sculpt Teacher certified. I specialize in teaching: Vinyasa, restorative yoga and Yoga Sculpt. My classes integrate mindful movement with functional fitness. I’ve blended my love for movement with weight training, creating a holistic approach to fitness that empowers the body and mind.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After more than seven years in the technology sector working in downtown Chicago, I transitioned into a remote work environment. I maintained my active lifestyle by hiking and continuing to study dance, pilates, and strength-training. My desire to keep myself strong and healthy eventually developed into a personal mission to share with the world. I pursued my 200-hour RYT certification to deepen my practice and share yoga's physical and mental health benefits with others. Yoga is not only about the physical postures / asanas but about reflection, presence, and self-awareness. It is the most rewarding experience to recognize the physical, mental, and emotional transformations in my clients and students. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the power of moving and healing our bodies!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of individuals, including: 1. Young students in elementary school – focusing on physical activity and foundational movement by helping the students manage stress and emotional regulation in a fun and engaging way. 2. Adults of all ages – helping them get stronger through tailored fitness programs that align to their lifestyles and schedules. 3. Seniors – offering mobility exercises designed to improve functional movement and prevent injury. 4. Young adults and athletes – assisting in improving mobility, flexibility, and stamina for enhanced performance. I value creating a welcoming, inclusive, and holistic environment where students of all levels feel supported. Whether they are beginners or seasoned practitioners, I aim to help students develop a deeper connection to themselves, promoting physical vitality and mental clarity.
