Sprout Reading Intervention

Reading can be challenging. It is a relatively recent skill in our evolutionary timeline, and not all brains have fully adapted to the intricacies of decoding symbols and processing written language. I offer personalized reading intervention to empower every child's literacy journey. My one-hour individual sessions are crafted with a unique approach, ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance they deserve. I recommend sessions twice a week, fostering a consistent learning experience enriched with activities designed for ongoing practice throughout the week. At the root of my approach is the belief in one fundamental principle: all individuals can learn. I've been dedicated to supporting students who face reading challenges and their families as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, instructional advisor, and MTSS coordinator. My approach extends beyond academic growth— I am dedicated to the holistic development of each student. Having worked with a diverse range of abilities, witnessing a student’s confidence grows alongside their reading skills brings me immense joy. I believe in making learning an enjoyable experience for every child. This is especially crucial for those who have faced challenges with a particular skill or subject.
