We were thrilled with the performance by Brooksley at our sip and paint event. Despite being hired last-minute, she showed up promptly and was incredibly accommodating. She worked with us to select the perfect music beforehand and seamlessly integrated into our slightly challenging timeline. Her music selection was fantastic and added a beautiful ambiance to the evening. We couldn’t have been happier with her performance and highly recommend her for any event!”

I don’t usually just rate things 5 out of 5, but this is one of those rare occasions where I had someone go above and beyond my expectations. Brooksley was prepared, professional, and friendly. She helped coordinate with my photographer the find the special moment for my proposal and the her performance during our picnic was phenomenal! If I’m ever in need of a violinist, Brooksley is my top pick!

Brooksley’s was the PERFECT addition to my proposal, she’s just as amazing as a violinist as she is a person. We would have phone calls talking about just everything and she actually cared and was so engaged with everything. She’s so perfect and no one should ever hire someone else. She’s the best!!!!!

I am so glad that we booked Brooksley for our daughter's Sweet 16 celebration! She provided a wealth of options for song selections, was very accommodating to our requests, and very responsive to our messages. On event day she was punctual with more than enough time for her setup and was ready to play at the agreed time. I would not hesitate to book Brooksley again and I totally recommend her services. Top Notch! 😁

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing depends on your event/wedding location, month, date, and day of the week! The following is my pricing list: 1 hour - $260 to $620 2 hours - $530 to $830 3 hours - $740 to $1,040 4 hours - $960 to $1,260 5 hours - $1,170 to $1,470 My Bose speaker and violin mic to amplify my violin are included in all my pricing!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In my initial response with my quote, I always include the style of songs I play, my audio/video samples, and my complete song lists so the client has all my information up front! Also, I request a deposit to secure the date, and the client can pay the deposit via Venmo or Zelle! I am happy to provide a contract as well!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I have played in many restaurants and Churches over the years, so I am very familiar with their requirements and restrictions! CHURCHES: Due to COVID, most Churches today do not allow outside violinists to play for weddings, so please contact your Church first for approval! For Catholic weddings, most Churches require sacred classical music (i.e. Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring, Ave Maria, Hymns). Thus, if your Church approves an outside violinist and you would like music other than sacred classical, please contact your Church music director or Priest first for approval! RESTAURANTS: Most restaurants do not allow outside violinists to serenade a table in the dining room (i.e. for proposals, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, etc.) due to the other diners, due to the set music playlist playing through the speakers, and/or due to their own live entertainment. Thus, please contact the General Manager first for approval! If you have booked a fully private room in the restaurant, please still contact the General Manager first for approval! There is usually more flexibility with the fully private rooms, but I have encountered a few restaurants that still do not allow it!
