FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have sessions which are specifically priced and which are based on my experience of what works best for ladies just like you. I usually suggest a minimum of 2 hours for any session, as time flies fast when we're having wardrobe fun! I also know some ladies have had enough of shopping after a few hours! I do offer additional hours, charged by the hour, so it really is about us tailoring sessions and styling plans that work best for you and your style needs to overcome those style frustrations and challenges. Let's banish those expensive fashion mistakes together once and for all and build lots of great looks and outfits, so you can enjoy your life looking and feeling great!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in tailoring sessions to suit client needs, requirements and budgets. This is a personal service with you at the heart of it. Prior to our session, I will ask you to complete my STYLE PROFILER which asks you questions about your current style and wardrobe frustrations as well as info about you, so that I can get to know you a little better. This allows me to be fully prepared for our session together to ensure we set up the right sessions for your needs and also maximize our time together. Wardrobe sessions take place at your house and Shopping/Styling sessions in the mall, where we will meet for a coffee and chat through everything before we get started. I want all of my clients to feel at ease and enjoy the experience of building a great wardrobe that works for you whatever the occasion!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in fashion for over 10 years internationally, both in the UK and US. I formally trained in the UK as a Personal Stylist, gaining training in COLOR and STYLE for women and men. In 2010, I set up my own Training Academy and have since trained and mentored almost 30 Stylists into their own businesses and fashion careers. In 2013, I completed my second degree in Merchandise Marketing at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) in Los Angeles and San Diego, California and was admitted to the President's Honor Roll. Since starting my Personal Styling business in 2007, I have worked with women of all sizes, shapes and lifestyles to work with them to build wardrobes that work for THEM, THEIR lifestyle, THEIR bodyshapes and THEIR budget.
