- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My new clients usually send me a photo of them first and then any looks they like online. I take the looks into consideration and do their makeup in the way that the look best suits them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with MAC Cosmetics in 1996 and basically trained on the job.,, such an important time in makeup. Working for them during their early days was such an honor and a privilege.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My best friend is well-known celebrity Makeup Artist. Years ago, when she was starting out, she would try every type of makeup look on me. I was her guinea pig, haha. She would literally transform me one day from a Japanese geisha girl to an Afro-American disco queen. I fell in love with makeup by her hand and her inspiration.
