I've been in business for over eight years, with experience working alongside everything from large brands to everyday people and their families. Empathy and understanding are two of the most important things in business, in my opinion. It's with these in mind that I provide my clients with services that seek to understand their project as much as possible before moving forward. I've worked a number of different jobs in the marketing and advertising world. As a result, I'm able to adapt my understanding and perspective to the client and project in a way that translate through the image. My favorite thing about being a photographer is capturing the sort of image that causes my client to nod their head enthusiastically and shout out "YES" when they see the progress made. There's no better feeling in this business than a satisfied client.

Jared was exactly what I was looking for! He knew the location and was able to blend in with the crowd. The candid shots he captured looked like they came straight out of a travel magazine and everyone was raving about the quality of photos. When planning events, I tend to worry about the price for almost everything except the photography. Photos last forever and Jared’s quality of photography makes them worth keeping forever (while still keeping his prices competitive). After the candid shots, he took some staged photos and recommended locations and poses. These turned out amazing as well because I have no idea how to stage a shot or take a pose on my own. Jared was absolutely amazing! He managed to give me beautiful graduation photos for my college graduation, as well as beautiful photos of my boyfriend and myself that we both cherish. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's flexible to a degree, but completely fair.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to start with an initial consultation with my clients to suss out what the parameters for the project are, what sort of goals they have in mind, and set the proper expectations for all parties involved. This is typically the most tedious part, but once finished it makes the actual shoot a breeze and allows everyone to relax and have some fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing. Through these degrees, I was able to understand how to tell a story and illicit responses. This sort of training carries over quite perfectly to photography.
