FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price we give is the price you pay. We don't tack on extra charges or costs after we've started. If anything unforeseen comes up or you change your mind about something, it's no problem - we'll discuss it together!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You'll walk me through your project and explain in detail exactly what you want. Pictures of things you like are often very helpful so we both understand what the expectations are. Ill then offer suggestions regarding design, layout, material, etc. you may have overlooked that could potentially save you money. Ill then provide a bid with a line-item breakdown of everything we discussed so you know no detail will be overlooked.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands-on training is the best way to learn any trade. A majority of my training was on the job as an apprentice under general contractors who taught me demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, drywall, texture, tile, building codes, and all other facets of general construction. The California Contractors State License Board educational classes are also beneficial in keeping up-to-date with California building codes and requirements.
