My ultimate priority is that my client's reach their ultimate fitness goals, no matter what they are. I provide the intensity and results of that of a regular gym in the comfort of my client's own home. The advantages of hiring me is that there is no such thing as having to wait for machines/equipment or commute to the gym. I bring all of the equipment needed to build a new body and the exercise plan to do so right to your door. The clients who I work with all achieve their goals of increasing their strength, losing weight, and building a toned body. I help them succeed by customizing every workout according to their needs. I track all of their progress and use technology to aid in measuring how their body responds to their every move. Marcos has been training my 90 year old husband who has dementia, balance issues and loss of strength. At times he had trouble getting out of bed. After two months twice weekly workouts he has vastly improved! I'm very impressed with Marcos, he is patient, understanding and careful plus a joy to be with. Thanks so much Marcos.

I’m in my late 70’s and I recognized that my arm, leg and core strength had diminished noticeably. Working with Marcos, I have noticed that my stamina and strength have improved greatly. I walk further with more confidence and am able to do everyday chores more easily. Marcos always listened to my needs, observed my physical abilities and made sure I was safe during lessons. Marcos has helped get me back into strength training and helped me get started in a safe way so I can progress without injury. He is great at progressing exercises, has a great understanding of body mechanics, and educates on safe form. Would recommend him for beginners and those who are advanced.

Before I started training with Marcos, I struggled with my weight and over all health for a very long time having pre diabetes and chronic eczema. Marcos is very knowledgeable, honest, patient, communicative and very kind. He is really great at explaining nutrition at a level that I can understand and he customizes my training workouts to cater to my needs. I’ve tried different diets before but I could never get my glucose numbers under control and I really started to physically feel the toll on my body. He has really taught me the importance of holding myself accountable and checks in every single day whilst teaching me the importance of balance. Within a month I lost 8 lbs and 3% body fat, I’ve become stronger and have gained stamina and muscle but most importantly my glucose numbers have normalized. I love that his main goal is to teach a healthier life style and really educates on how to perfect your form during workouts to avoid injury. If you are looking to start your health and fitness journey I highly recommend him.

I have been working with Marcos for about 9 months now and have had a great experience, along with some amazing results! I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant in hiring a personal trainer but now I realize the value of hiring a professional to help me reach my fitness goals. I have not only gotten physically stronger but I also feel much confident wearing clothes that I once didn’t feel great even trying on. He is excellent with explaining every exercise and diet recommendation that he suggests and it has helped me live a happier and healthier lifestyle.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    A new client is taken through an assessment workout in which I measure their strength with different movements and exercises. I will then create an exercise plan based on the goals that they want to meet. I provide every client with a Polar watch that measures important factors for progress like heart rate, daily activity, and sleep patterns.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I once had a personal trainer help me about 12 years ago and so I decided to pay it forward by helping a friend. I realized how much I enjoyed helping others achieved their goals by using the knowledge that I had about weight loss and strength gains. I later had an internship through my university helping athletes recover from injuries using different types of exercise modalities.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    I recently took on a client that had never in her life lifted a single weight. She had only tried the cardio machines at the gym and had never gone beyond that. I started by introducing her to the basics of proper movement and form. Within a few weeks she was lifting the weights like as if she had been using them for years and was able to progress on her strength goals. She has gone from a beginner to intermediate level within weeks and is starting on advanced movements.
