- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well just as in the past liqour and serving of liqour is an recession proof industry. When times are bad people are out drinking trying to forget about their troubles. When times are good people are out celebrating their good fortune and being generous to others and the bartender. So on one of my bad times I noticed where I was and decided to make a change for the better and get into bartending.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common are birthdays but depening on the season we get a little of everything from weddings, bridal showers, quinceneras, corporate, christmas, new years, superbowl, graduation, anniversary and holiday theme parties. Put we can do and fit any part you ask for and have the bartenders to fit that theme.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure he or she has some previous experience with perhaps some referrals from previous clients. Ask them to recite some recipes of your favorite drinks to see if they have a good knowledge of ingredients. They have their own tools for the event and can help you with a drink list to fit your needs. If they have some certification from Servsafe or TIPS is a plus.
