Engagement/SF City Hall 1000 includes travel+2 rolls of medium format film Weddings 500/hr Non-Corporate Events 225/hr + travel fee (2hr minimum) Portraits 1hr session 300 + travel fee Headshots 250, in studio. My personal philosophy when it comes to working with clients is to make the experience of hiring me as easy as possible. I'm not one to beat around the bush, and I hate wasting my client's and my own time on things that don't matter. The process for inquiry is to check with the client for job type, and availability for event/job date. From there I'll answer any questions the client may have, either through text or call. If things work out, I will digitally send the client a contract for the event/job. Half the total amount will be due at time of signing. We'll take the photos, and I'll send back the photos through an online gallery for clients to download off of. Tyler is an amazing photographer. We’re so happy we could book him for our special day! He knows SF City Hall really well and can capture the most beautiful pictures in the space. He was a great guide on natural posing and created a relaxed environment that made the whole experience memorable. We loved that on top of the superb digital pictures, Tyler also shot some film photos using a medium format camera. These photos have an incredible timeless quality that’s hard to describe but truly unique. As far as we know, there’s no one else that does that. We can’t recommend Tyler enough! Thank you!

When I first reached out to Tyler, I thought I only wanted a few film photos of the ceremony and wasn't too concerned about capturing the guests or other details. However, I'm so glad Tyler took the initiative to photograph everything! On the day of the wedding, everything moved so quickly that sticking strictly to film wasn't feasible, but the results turned out beautifully regardless. If you can swing it, BOOK TYLER!! We booked Tyler to shoot our intimate elopement ceremony and it was hands down the best decision we made in the entire saga of our marriage planning. Tyler has a masterful eye when it comes to capturing color, composition, and story. He has a way of making you, your partner, and your location, wherever that may be, look like a million bucks. I’m convinced that we could have had our ceremony behind a dumpster and still been floored by the resulting photos. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $200/hr and I will charge a travel fee typically around $15-40 if the location isn't within a 15 mile distance of me. Events/Weddings/Graduation pricing works differently depending on length, number of people, and scale. I also offer more premium services, such as film photography portraits. These are more expensive due to material costs and time required to edit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client sends me an inquiry. We check on availability and pricing to see if we're a good fit together. Contract is signed, and deposit is paid. Photographs are magically produced (just kidding we gotta take photos) I edit the photos and send them back to clients through an online gallery. Clients download photos.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
12 years of self taught photography. Numerous weddings, events, portrait sessions, and just a whole assortment of client work.
