Danny Lieder did two jobs for us: the first job was to clean the windows of the house of our daughter that had not been cleaned in a long time, and he did an excellent job. At the same time he also did some much needed handiwork, like repairing a lock and changing a toilet seat. The second job was to tidy up the garden, especially trim the bushes along the driveway. This too he did very professionally, and the place looks much better. What we also appreciated was his friendliness and his competence in many fields - a real allrounder! ARC Handyman Services (Danny) has made me so happy! My expectations were greatly exceeded! I had a complex plumbing problem in my 35-year-old mobile home. I was afraid that a plumber might have to work all day and still not be able to figure out why hot water was coming out of my cold water faucet, the toilet tank, and the outside hose nozzle. All of the above were dripping water at an increasing rate as time went by, even when the water was "shut off" at the valve outside. Danny went out of his way to schedule the extra time he thought he might need to complete the work before things got much worse. He and the staff of ARC Handyman Services are excellent communicators. I was so worried, but Kirsten in the office explained to me that Danny was really smart and that she didn't know of anything yet that he couldn't fix. In my case this turned out to be so true! Danny arrived at the expected time, smiling, friendly, and prepared with a truck full of tools and supplies. He looked things over, asked me a few questions, and had the whole problem figured out and fixed so quickly that he also was able to take care of TWO (!) other projects I'd been waiting to fix: 1) He used the kit I already had and replaced all the parts in my toilet tank, and 2) he fixed two hanging ceiling lights that previously would not turn on with the light switch. Wow! I'm not just impressed... I am ecstatic and amazed! He fixed THREE of my most aggravating maintenance problems in 2-1/2 hours, which was just barely over the minimum he charges to come out. I got three projects fixed for less than I was expecting to pay for one project! I think that Danny's knowledge, skill, and speed make his hourly rates the best value in town. I'll definitely be calling ARC Handyman Services for more projects in the future: replace fence, rebuild steps, repair floor, power wash exterior, etc. I'm so relieved now, and happy! We've used Danny and Kirsten's ARC Handyman service for several jobs--repair and partial replacement of an existing fence, a new frame around an interior door where the existing one had cracked, and a bed frame repair. In every case the service was very prompt, thorough, courteous and fairly-priced.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a minimum charge of $195 for the first 2 hours then drop our rate to $75 per hour there after.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After many years of people telling me how talented I was on so many different subjects, I decided to become a home improvement specialist and I'm glad I did. I love my work. I enjoy the people I meet and its satisfying at the end of the day to say I built that or I fixed that.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a variety of work for my clients but probably the most common work I do is related to plumbing or painting.
